Christmas Parade and Fun in the Park

On Saturday, December 6, 2008 we awoke to a beautiful morning in Ninety Six. It was clear and a bit crisp, perfect weather for a parade and to welcome Santa to our community. The parade was led by our Police Chief who was shortly followed by our award winning Ninety Six Wildcat Band and Cheerleaders. We had horses, beautiful floats, clowns, dancers and, all to soon, here came the beautiful fire-truck with Santa on it. Here's a sampling of what we saw.......

Following the parade, we had a lot of FUN IN THE PARK. There were games, crafts, a BIG pile of leaves, wonderful food, and a display by the Greenwood Humane Society. Santa was there for pictures and we even were able to snap a picture of Mayor Arvest.
