 The Ninety Six Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the 246 Army Band, South Carolina National Guard will provide a Concert of patriotic, Jazz and pop music to open the 3rd Annual Festival of Stars.  They will perform in the Ninety Six Town Park at 4:30pm, Friday, July 1st.

The Taste of Ninety Six Cookbooks are on sale now.  Over 300 recipes taste tested and provided by some of Ninety Six's greatest cooks.  These are beautiful hardcover books and will make great gifts.
They are available for only $15.00 at the 96 Visitor Center, Town Hall, The Star and Beacon and The Ragpicker.  Proceeds from the sale of these books go to support the projects of the Ninety Six Chamber of Commerce.

 The Festival of Stars Photo Contest is underway and the entries are on exhibit in the Ninety Six Visitor Center.  We have some really great entries from some very talented photographers.  Stop by and while you're here, vote for your favorite.

Haven't you always wanted your child to be a star?  Saturday morning, July 2nd, you can.  Enter you child, up to age 18, in the Ninety Six Has Talent show.  It will be on the 2nd stage in the Town Park immediately after the Parade. 
Speaking of Parades; you can be in it.  Wear your Red, White and Blue, bring your Golf Cart, Little Red Wagon, Bicycle, or just come and walk.  The Parade lines up on Main Street behind the Depot at 9:15 am.

We're going to have entertainment throughout the Festival this year.  Following the 246 Army Band Concert, the activity moves to Historic Downtown Ninety Six for our Rock "N" Roll Cruisers Cruise In and Street Dance featuring Shag Attack.

Saturday, beginning at 10:30am we have two stages going in the Town Park.  There's a variety of music for you to enjoy from Gospel to Country to Blue Grass.  Then at 6:00 we'll bring on the Dave and Joe Show followed by our headliners, THE OUT OF TOWNERS BAND.

Fireworks will start at approximately 9:45.  Be There!!!
